“In matters of truth and justice, there is no difference between large and small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of people are all the same.” – Albert Einstein

Mr. Barbuto has proven himself to be a skilled and tenacious personal injury lawyer since the beginning of his legal career. He in fact began his career settling a premises liability lawsuit for $600,000 only a year after passing his first bar exam. Mr. Barbuto also spent the early years of his practice defending insurance companies in personal injury actions, providing him an invaluable perspective that works to his advantage in now pursuing claims against insurance companies.

For approximately the past 10 years, Mr. Barbuto has distinguished himself as one of the leading lawyers in Palm Beach County’s western communities, having taken over a general practice from attorney Ann Porath, Esq. in 2008, who was the first lawyer to practice in Wellington, Florida on a full time basis in the early 1980s. Since 2008, Mr. Barbuto has championed all types of legal matters for clients in his general practice, representing thousands of Florida residents from probate actions to complex commercial litigation. Based on his background and experience in personal injury law, as well as the needs of his clientele, Mr. Barbuto founded a second law firm with his talented partner, Carly Johansson, devoted to personal injury law and helping victims maximize their economic damages for their injuries.

Mr. Barbuto earned a Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, in literature from Bard College at Simon’s Rock.  He then received his law degree at Oklahoma City University School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 2006, and the New Jersey and Florida Bars in 2007. He practices personal injury in Palm Beach County, with a focus on personal injury and wrongful death cases, and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Barbuto resides in Wellington, Florida with his Albanian-Italian wife and infant son, Leonardo. Aside from the practice of law, Mr. Barbuto maintains a travel blog at www.italianenthusiast.com, where he enjoys writing about Italy and Italian culture in his spare time.
